Born and raised in San Francisco, I am married and have 5 children (all who have played volleyball at Shadow Ridge) and currently 4 grandchildren. I played volleyball in my younger years and have developed the love and passion for this sport since day one. I studied Sports Medicine for 2yrs, but unfortunately did not pursue a career in that profession, but I currently work a full-time job at a local hospital ER and enjoy being in that environment and very fortunate as it allows me to continue to do what I love.....Coaching!!

 I began my coaching career at my Alma Mater, El Camino HS in California, from 1999-2003. In November of 2003, I relocated my family to Las Vegas and shortly began coaching again here at Shadow Ridge in 2005. For the women's program, I have coached both B and JV teams up until 2017, under Former Head Coach, Karissa Guthrie and I have also been a part of the Men's volleyball coaching staff since 2006. I took over the women's program as the Head Coach in 2019 and I am so thankful to be able to continue to build upon the legacy of this program.

I am also grateful for the opportunity to be coaching in the off season with amazing coaches in this valley. Many who have been head coaches at numerous successful programs here in So. Nevada. This opportunity allows me to continue to learn and grow as a coach in all ways possible. 

I look forward to every new season and new year that I am able to get to know your child and assist them In any way that would allow them to be successful in the classroom, as well as on and off the court. Teach them to be an accountable representative of themselves, their family, school and our volleyball program here at Shadow Ridge High School.
